it took them only about 15 years or so to make up their minds but finally pam and stefan have decided to tie the knot and we are all so so happy! she loves you!!!

against the odds as they only take in 20 children every year from an international cohort of hopeful young talents and after an audition she described herself as 'perhaps ok', our darling daughter has made it into her dream place for aspiring musicians, the one and only purcell school. a big big congratulations, bienchen!!!

90 Grad Nord

and over to yet another talented young man and the son of one of our best friends, the immensely creative detsky graffam, whose short film 90 grad nord will premiere on 22nd march in berlin's arsenal kino. i wish we could go and i recommend to everybody being close enough to mitte (i believe that's where arsenal is these days, after i saw quite a few films in its then location in schöneberg) to take a look. i was lucky enough to have a sneak preview: impressive!

a rising star

very proud to report that sabine's oldest boy, langston uibel, is right on his way to become a great actor. having recently finished filming 'freistatt', which won several prizes already and will start in germany in june, we are convinced that this is only the beginning and we will see much more of him. great job, langston!
