funny if you haven't thought of somebody for a long time and then this person of all features in a dream, and you have no idea where that's coming from, and by the time you're up and running you've completely forgotten about it, and then by chance the same day you move some stuff and a few pics come up and then you remember. as of today...

daughter today went out to shannon-leigh stables to meet ulli, and i can't tell whether it was on purpose but she surely was colour coordinated, and apparently ulli is not only very pretty, but also a really big horse. he will need a good deal of training first, which means that for now i'm off the hook. watch this space...

law and order

my lovely, lovely friend richard telling our students-to-be about law and languages, and look how orderly they all listen. in the feedback i later received, this was by far the most popular event in our law day, and no wonder as richard was telling his stories in the most entertaining way. danke!!!

on strike!

h/e institutions this week campaigned against the attack on our pensions. can i also please go on a strike regarding a number of domestic issues, like a) no functioning basement for three months, b) no proper access to my washing machine for the same time, c) tools and suitcases sitting in my living room now for weeks, and all this because husbands needs time to sort his workshop?? grrrr

how do they do it

not sure but it seems that life in muenster is always a little better than elsewhere, just look at my lovely aunt and cousin who manage to look more relaxed than ever, with either beautiful flowers around them, or horses (more to come soon), or plates of tasty looking food... what's wrong with us, may i ask...

snowed in

our visitors from the high north!

a rare sight in our garden and on london's streets as well, to have the worthmann family together in one pic, and so delighted that they actually made it over to our island last summer. and yes, the weather was fine mostly, aside from one shower, and luka coped ever so well, just don't mention the leaking roof over his bed...
